The gardens at the Sheriff Lodge B&B in Matlock had lots of lovely features to retain and re-use. The hard landscaping was kept and the formal symmetry emphasised by reinstating low box hedging around the square beds. A palette of dark purple and vibrant pink, introduced with black tulips, purple alliums, lupins, salvia and agastache, lifts the green backdrop and offers a deliciously scented and pollinator friendly space for guests to enjoy.
