Family Friendly Garden
This plot was a somewhat unloved garden that we brought to life as a wildlife focussed, family friendly space. The existing Derbyshire stone walls were kept and planted with tiny ferns and campanula, with new sandstone steps providing access to a levelled lawn and patio. The planting beds wrap around the lawn that provides space for the children to cartwheel. Soft grasses, purple, pink and white perennials such as echinacea, nepeta and asters offer a romantic softness to the garden throughout the year.
